More news on the Yeti: Skoda Australia boss Matthew Wiesner confirmed yesterday at the Yeti launch that the petrol 118TSI is also on its way to Australian Skoda showrooms.
The more powerful petrol version is scheduled to arrive in the first half of 2012. This model, to sit alongside the 103TDI 4X4, will expand the range to three (with the FWD-only 77TSI) each with both six-speed manual and DSG transmissions.
A return for the new Roomster in the latter half of 2012 was also confirmed - as is a wagon version of the funky Fabia (which is selling well since its launch just last month).
The Yeti though is expected to be the number one model in Skoda showrooms, "It's our most important model from a volume persective," Matthew Wiesner said.
