Hyundai’s new-generation Elantra, expected to make its global debut in Korea next month, has surfaced online today in a new leaked photo.
The small new sedan was last seen testing in January, wrapped in heavy camouflage and battling snow-covered roads during cold-weather testing.
This new shot, obtained by website Indian Autos Blog, offers the first ‘official’ look at the next Elantra, revealing its new front-end styling.
As expected, the 2016 model’s grille reveals that Hyundai’s family face will move in the direction of the new Tucson SUV, its open-top design replacing the full-frame look featured with the recently facelifted i30 and i40 models.
And, although only recently launched in Australia, we can likely expect the new Sonata to take on a similar look with its first facelift sometime in 2016 or 2017.
