New Holden Commodore recalled
Lion brand’s fully-imported family car is heading back to the dealership.
It has barely been two months since the new Holden ZB Commodore has landed on Australian shores, but Holden has already announced a recall.
The reason for the recall is concerns that the outboard rear seatbelts may not be installed correctly. Holden says that if the car were to get into an accident the belts may not work correctly and thus put the outer passengers at a greater risk.
The recall consists of 2167 liftbacks, Sportwagons and Tourers– a list of all VIN numbers affected can be found here. Holden will personally contact those affected and direct them to their nearest dealership – owners can call 1800 632 826 for more information.
