The coming two-door Coupe version of the new Mercedes C-Class is at least a year away from showrooms, according to new reports out of Europe.
The sleek new C-Class range has so far appeared in sedan and Estate wagon form, along with the hero C 63 performance flagship.
Now, a new report with Germany’s Auto Motor und Sport suggests that the Coupe model will make its global debut in December 2015.
But, as was the case with the larger S-Class Coupe, we can likely expect the new C-Class Coupe to appear in concept form at a major international motor show before debuting in production form later in the year.
The new C-Class has also been spied testing in drop-top Cabriolet form in recent months.
A heavy layer of camouflage obscures the details of those hard-top prototypes, although it appears likely that we can expect the two-door C-Class models to feature their own unique tail-light design, separate to the compact units worn by the sedan.
