Mitsubishi Wins Electric Division, Second And Third Outright At Pikes Peak

Mitsubishi’s all-electric tilt at the 2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb has yielded results, with the team winning the Electric Modified Division and taking two podium positions.

Driving the MiEV Evolution III EV racer, driver Greg Tracy won the electric division and finished second outright, setting the fourth-fastest time in Pikes Peak history in the process at 9m08.188s.

Teammate Hiroshi Masuoka filled the last step on the podium with third outright at 9m12.204s, marking a successful outing for the EV team in its third attempt at Pikes Peak.
