Honda pumps up Civic with new Luxe model
Plush trim available for a limited time.
Honda has expanded its Civic range with a new model intended to lend luxury appeal.
Priced from $26,490 plus on-road costs, Civic VTi-S Luxe costs $2000 more than the regular Civic VTi-S sedan.
The additional outlay brings leather seat trim, heated front seats with eight-way power adjustment, a piano black grille similar to what you’ll find on the Civic Type R, and metallic paint in a choice of four colours – white, silver, grey and blue - as standard.
Those features build on the standard kit that includes 16-inch alloy wheels, front and rear parking sensors, fog lights, Apple CarPlay connectivity and more.
Honda says the Luxe is on sale now in limited numbers. Customers keen to get hold of something a little cheaper can snap up the regular Civic hatch or sedan in CVT automatic form from $24,990 drive-away.
