Honda Australia has this week introduced capped-price servicing throughout its dealer network. The new plan places a set maximum price on parts and servicing tasks under the maintenance schedule.
It will cover owners for scheduled servicing under ‘normal’ conditions for the first five years or 100,000km, whichever occurs first.
As part of the plan, the Japanese carmaker has also introduced an ‘adaptive’ servicing scheme. Items such as dust and pollen filters, air filters and brake fluid only being attended to when required, rather than simply ‘by the book’.
