Holden Cruze sedan, hatch upgraded with new interior tech
The Holden Cruze range has been upgraded with new features, added at no extra cost.
The flagship Cruze SRi-V now comes with satellite navigation, while all locally manufactured sedan and hatch variants gain voice control for the infotainment system and Siri integration enabling iPhone owners to perform a number of functions in hands-free mode.
Developed together with the VF Commodore’s MyLink system, the Holden Cruze SRi-V’s sat-nav features a push-to-talk steering wheel button, split-screen and 3D map views, speed limit information and a points of interest catalogue.
Also matching the Commodore is the Cruze’s voice control system, which has been enhanced with a system tuned to the Australian accent to deliver accurate speech recognition for local drivers.
The Korean-sourced Holden Cruze wagon misses out on the updates.
Holden says its MyLink and Siri integration systems will be introduced to a number of other models in its line-up over the coming months.
