Holden Colorado Storm arrives from $52,490 – UPDATE
The Holden Colorado Storm has joined the range as a limited-edition model, kicking off at $52,490 before on-road costs.
Based on the LTZ Crew Cab, the Colorado Storm gets $3000 worth of additional equipment, including heated leather seats, a polished nudge bar with parking sensors, accessory cupholders, a bonnet protector, 'Storm badging' and carpet floor mats.
Under the bonnet is the same 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine fitted to the wider Colorado range, developing 147kW of power and 440Nm/500Nm of torque in both manual and auto trim.
Drive is sent to a selectable four-wheel drive system via a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic gearbox. Opting for the auto brings the starting price to $54,690 plus ORCs.
The Colorado Storm is available in seven colours; Power Blue, Nitrate, Summit White, Mineral Black, Absolute Red, Auburn Brown and Stain Steel Grey.
Additionally, the Storm is being offered with Holden's promotional seven-year, 175,000km warranty which is available across the company's line-up until 31 December 2017.
Holden's website is currently advertising the special-edition ute for $51,990 drive-away in both manual and automatic form until October 31.
