Holden’s sales charts in June were the best the carmaker had seen in Australia for three years, thanks in part to an aggressive end of financial year (EOFY) sales campaign.
The EOFY deals offered drive-away pricing on some models and free scheduled servicing on others, combined with an extension of the usual three-year factory warranty to five years.
Barina, Cruze and Captiva models were targeted in the June sale along with the Colorado pickup and Trax small SUV, with Holden announcing a record sales month for the latter two; and the Malibu sedan.
