Citroen Australia has announced the arrival of a new addition to its DS4 range of small crossovers.
Dubbed the DS4 DStyleTHP 120 Automatic, this new model sits at the lower end of the price scale, with the same $35,990 sticker price as the previous entry-level model the DS4 DStyle THP115.
With 120kW of power, the DS4 THP 120 enjoys a modest 5kW increase in power over the DS4 THP 115, and by substituting the 115's robotised single-clutch manual with a conventional hydraulic six-speed automatic, driveability has been improved.
Performance is also boosted, with the THP 120 hitting 100km/h in 8.6 seconds compared to the 115's 9.9 seconds. Fuel economy suffers, though, with the 120 drinking 7.7 l/100km against the 115's 6.5 l/100km figure.
Equipment levels are broadly the same across both entry-level DS4 models, with the new DS4 THP 120 getting dual-zone climate control, cruise control, parking sensors, leather upholstery, heated front seats.
There's also an electronic parking brake, auto-dimming rear view mirror, Bluetooth and USB connectivity all as standard.
