The 2023 Nissan Juke is set to undergo a handful of minor equipment and cosmetic changes ahead of its arrival in Australian showrooms in early 2023.

Launched in 2020, the second-generation Juke is set to receive updated Nissan badges and new-look wheels on the entry-level ST variant, now priced from $28,390 plus on-road costs.

The Nissan Juke is undergoing a price increase across all five of its variants, with the ST, ST+, ST-L+ and Ti/TiO grades bumped up by $400 while the ST-L is now $500 more than its previous list price.

While the upgrades to the Juke ST and ST+ are limited to badges and wheels, the ST-L is now equipped with Nissan's 'Intelligent Key', allowing for hands-free locking and unlocking when the key is near the car.

Nissan Juke ST-L grades and higher are also now equipped with a 'luggage board' system, giving owner modular storage options in the 422-litre boot.

In addition to this, the Nissan Juke's Bose sound system in ST-L+ and above grades now includes 10 speakers, gaining an extra two speakers in the rear.

The Nissan Juke continues to be powered by a turbocharged 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine – developing 84kW and 180Nm – sending drive to the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Nissan claims the Juke consumes 5.8L/100km on the combined cycle, although previous tests by Drive have found fuel consumption can be higher.

In May 2020, local new-car safety authority ANCAP awarded the Nissan Juke a five-star safety rating, with the light-segment SUV scoring particularly well in the adult and child occupant protection tests.

The Nissan Juke is backed by a five-year, unlimited-kilometre warranty in Australia.

As previously reported, it is understood Nissan Australia has no plans to launch the Juke hybrid in Australia.

The 2023 Nissan Juke is due in Australian showrooms in early 2023.
