2018 Jaguar F-Pace SVR Australian price revealed
The British brand get set to launch its flagship SUV.
Jaguar has added some spice to its family SUV line-up.
The luxury marque has revealed that the new F-Pace SVR will be priced from $140,020 before on-road costs in Australia.
Utilising the brand's 5.0-litre supercharged V8 petrol unit, that has been slightly detuned compared to the hardcore F-Type SVR, but still produces 404kW and 680Nm. The V8 is hooked up to an eight-speed automatic that delivers the ample power outputs to all four wheels, which also utilises a torque vectoring system.
The Jaguar can sprint from 0-100km/h in just 4.3 seconds and has a top speed of 283km/h.
Combined with the extra performance Jaguar has added a number of aerodynamic features including larger air intakes that help reduce lift, a rear spoiler and revised bumper to smooth airflow, while an SVR bonnet equipped with air vents helps cool the engine.
An SVR-tweaked chassis alters the damper settings, while a variable valve exhaust makes the most of the leaping cat's roar.
Lightweight 21-inch alloy wheels hold uprated brakes to increase the stopping power of the hot SUV.
Slimline performance front seats with SVR logos on the headrest and a SVR branded steering wheel with paddle shifters round out the F-Pace's sporty interior touches.
Jaguar's F-Pace SVR also previews the upcoming Range Rover Velar SVR which will sit below the 423kW/700Nm Range Rover Sport SVR.
