Honda's wagonised Civic has been teased once more ahead of its Geneva debut next month, offering a glimpse of the company's small family hauler.
Based on the new Civic Hatch, the upcoming wagon wear a tapered roofline, rounded out by the illusion of a split D-pillar at the rear end.
The wagon will debut first in concept form, but like the new CR-V, the stretched Civic will likely hit Geneva as a thinly-veiled preview of the production model.
Honda Australia has yet to comment on the wagon's Australian potential, confirming only that, for now at least, it has been developed as a European-market offering.
Like the UK-built Civic Hatch however, a right-hand-drive version of the wagon is likely, meaning that the only thing keeping it from Australia will be a suitable business case.
Honda's Geneva stand will also host the debut of the new CR-V in diesel form, driven by the same 1.6 litre i-DTEC engine available in with the new Civic Hatch. (The diesel Civic and CR-V models are due here later in 2013.)
Honda will round out its Geneva display with the sharp new NSX concept. As with Australia, the Acura brand is not marketed in Europe, meaning the NSX will wear Honda badges in Geneva.
