Land Rover has revealed the updated-for-2013 Freelander this week, ahead of its Australian International Motor Show debut in October.
Arriving alongside the brand-new Range Rover, the updated Freelander promises a more upmarket feel and a new 2.0 litre powerplant under the bonnet.
A number of subtle styling tweaks are also on the menu, including revised headlights and tail-lights, new colour options and new wheels.
Inside, the 2013 Freelander gets a new steering wheel and a new five-inch display embedded in the instrument cluster.
There's also a new centre stack that does away with the complicated and utilitarian look of the outgoing model; bringing a classier look, and fewer buttons.
An updated satellite navigation system is featured, and there's also a new voice recognition package and a reversing camera that even includes trailer-connection guidance.
The new display also pack an upgraded eight-speaker audio system, with a 10-CD storage function, DVD player, Bluetooth audio streaming and USB/iPod/auxiliary connectivity.
