Honda's updated CR-Z sports hybrid has reared its head in Paris this week, after a surprise appearance at last week's Indonesia Motor Show.
Along with subtle styling tweaks, fans were promised a light power boost for the 2013 model year, and a light boost is just what the updated CR-Z brings.
This update sees the little petrol-electric hybrid coupe's combined output increased to 101kW and 190Nm of torque in six-speed manual form - an improvement of 10kW and 16Nm.
The power boost comes courtesy of upgrades to the 1.5 litre petrol engine, and a new lithium-ion battery pack - replacing the previous version's nickel-metal hydride unit.
Tweaks to the petrol engine include an upgraded variable valve timing system and a reprogrammed engine control unit.
